Extends the wavelength coverage of the Vertex 80v FT-IR spectrometer into the THz range. The existing infrared ranges and continuous-wave THz can be used in the same sample compartment, share the same accessories and the evacuated optics bench. With the extension, wavelength range is from <3 cm–1 to 50,000 cm–1 without cryogenically cooled components.
