The Agilent 5977C GC/MSD system is the latest of their single quadrupole GC/MS instruments. The introduction of HydroInert source in the 5977C allows customers to explore hydrogen as a viable alternative to helium as a carrier gas for GC/MS with minimal impact on performance and minimising dependence on helium as a non-renewable resource.
